Kat Wright is a storyteller.

I’m a designer, writer, and illustrator driven by a lifelong love of narrative. Long before I understood what “visual communication” meant, I was devouring books, both fantastical and factual alike, and learning how stories shape the way we see ourselves and each other. Reading made me a better writer. Writing made me a better artist. And together, they led me to design.

Some might call me a hobbyist. I prefer to think of myself as curious. A skater. A caretaker. A coffee enthusiast. An organizer. An optimist. Each interest informs how I work: observant, adaptable, and deeply human.

My love of storytelling met my love of illustration in the early 2010s, and I’ve been immersed in visual design ever since. I see design as both an art and a tool. It’s a way to help people make informed choices, feel understood, and find connection. I’ve worked across finance, travel, holistic wellness, and retail, collaborating with teams and adapting to clients’ voices to create clear, compelling visual narratives.

I design with one overarching goal: to craft work that helps people promote, support, and celebrate community. Whether your audience is future clients, customers, teammates, or something in between, I aim to help you find your people.
