Kat Wright is a storyteller.
I’m a writer, an organizer, and a caretaker. A memory-capturer, a coffee-enthusiast, an animal-lover. A skater. An illustrator. An optimist.
I’m also a bit of a hobbyist. But my number-one hobby has always been reading, and through reading narratives both fantastical and factual, I’ve become a better writer, a better artist, and a better communicator.
My love of stories met my love of illustration in the early 2010’s. I’ve been enamored with and fascinated by visual communication and design ever since, as an art and a tool. I’ve come to understand how presentation can draw people in and help them to make choices that will improve their lives and the lives of others. I’ve learned to adapt to clients’ preferences and to collaborate with a team to reach the most desirable outcome. I’ve learned to create a myriad of narratives that share their messages clearly and artfully.
I design with an overarching goal in mind: to craft visual narratives that encourage people to promote, support, and celebrate community. I’ve worked in finance, travel, holistic wellness, and food service. I’ve volunteered in communities rural and urban. I’ve found that all of us are seeking our people, and I aim to help people find each other.
