I have currently designed more than 300 unique fireworks labels as Spirit of ‘76 Fireworks’ lead graphic designer. I manipulate existing assets, illustrate bespoke assets by hand, layer effects and styles for text and illustrated elements, and adhere to all legal guidelines and requirements for fireworks labels. These projects require integration of multiple skills, including information design, packaging design, photo manipulation, color correction for print, QR code and redirect link creation and management, illustration, typography, and more.
Cross-Platform Branded Promotional Art
Tako Pyrotechnics is Spirit of ‘76 Fireworks’ brand of too-cool, cutting-edge, fantastically terrifying fireworks. During my time with Spirit, we have refined the brand and created promotional art to draw in consumers across platforms, including Spirit’s Trade Show Booth, Sprinter Van, and of course the Tako Pyrotechnics themselves.
New Brand Development & Implementation
Soon after I started at Spirit of ‘76 Fireworks, the executive team made the decision to create a separate line of products previously sold as “‘76 Pro Line” fireworks and rebrand them as high-end products available to enthusiasts without pro-use licenses. I assisted in brainstorming the name and look of the new line, and ultimately designed the logo, branding, & all packaging elements for ‘76 Show Series.
These projects were produced while in the employ of Spirit of ‘76 Fireworks as the Lead Graphic Artist.
